The Anxious Generation

In the conclusion, Haidt says he began a book on social media and American democracy in late 2021, then separated the childhood material into this volume when that opening chapter grew into a larger inquiry. He credits work compiling research with Zach Rausch. Elsewhere he credits Lenore Skenazy’s help with the three action chapters.
